Had the chance to go to the local wildlife refuge in NW Ohio. Great birding area and today was their monthly auto tour so decided to take the Bigmos out for the first time and shoot some BIF. Mainly trumpeter and tundra swans which I had mixed results, but here's a selection that I though ok for an amateur still learning my 1d mk iii and this combination.

I picked up this same lens last fall. Takes a bit of practice to get the long lens techniques right but I can see you are well on your way with these shots. Well done.
I would crop these images differently myself. Leave some 'beak' room for the bird to fly into, ie: more space on the left side of these images so the birds aren't so centered.
