p.1 #1 · Ballistics Imaging

Has anyone had experience with very short duration flash setups? I'm looking for 1/100,000s or better. Most appear to be arc gap flashes and cost an arm and a leg, but I'm trying to put something together for a reasonable price. I want to image detonations moving at up to 8000 m/s
It is no small task.

That's a pretty specialized task. You might get better advice sending an e-mail to someone at Sandia National Labs. They do a lot of that kind of thing...usually on a MUCH bigger scale.
