Played against this team twice before - lost once and won once. Unfortunately, we lost today but the team played hard. All shot through the glass and unfortunately it is pretty dirty. Please let me know your C&C. Thanks
Looks like you could have easily given these a little bit of pop with some adjustment to levels or curves. Did you do that? They look a little flat...well...okay, they look really flat! Plus, it looks like focus isn't quite there on a couple. The last one, for example, appears that the kids farthest in the BG are sharper than the kid up front.
Thanks Scott. I did not do level or curves...but I did adjust for brightness and contrast. Agree with you on the focusing. Still need to get better with it.
Will try to reprocess these later on today and post it up.
I have only shot hockey a half a dozen times and learned I hated shooting through the glass. Seemed it was always a crap shoot if the shot was going to be in focus or not. Maybe you could find a place just above it with a longish lens and see how it goes.
Thanks Tim. You are correct that shooting through the glass is a real pain . As for longer glass, unfortunately, I do not have any... the 70-200 is the longest that I have (am not a pro - full time or part time... only DWAC ).
