p.1 #1 · Swim, Wrassling, Track and Basketball ...
(edited link to pic #13)
Have not posted lately (wife had back surgery on 12/14 and the mending has been slow but back close to day-to-day) and fortunately I have been to capture some events. Couple of images from each event. None strobbed ... all ambient in some challenging lighting conditions. I struggle with proper WB at times and suggestions / tips are welcome.

sportsdad
nice set of captures.
i can see what you mean about the WB.
The wrasslin shots are a tad yellow on my
monitor. The rest look very good.
thanks for sharing.

Wendell,
Some of these are really nice - #5, #9, #11, #12, #13
Swim photos are best dead-on straight. Except for #1, these look underexposed (water froth should be very bright gray, almost white)
Wrestling WB is always subject to the color cast coming off the mat - the gym you were in is very yellow, and they have a yellow mat too...
Track WB looks great - I have to say that your Nikon does wonders for the lighting in that fieldhouse. I haven't figured it out yet all with my Canon bodies.
