A good first impression of all 3 lenses I tried. But I only shoot a few shots with each so I can't really say much.
The prices are a little bit too high (IMO). And I already own five macro lenses including two Zeiss ZE. That was the main reason that I didn't buy the Voigtlander lens

Neat trick. The Voigtlander SL apparently has, it says, 9 elements in 11 groups. I knew Cosina had some nifty design tricks up their sleeve, but that is amazing.

Nice, brief review and to the point review. I'm not so sure about the use of 'old-school' to describe a real helical, and aperture ring though? To me they're simply standard features... I dunno, maybe I am old-school
It would have been nice if the camera position wasn't changed on the comparison photo to give a better idea of how the background blur looks at equal aperture, equal distance.
Well, anyway, I really hope Cosina revives production of the 125 APO. I would love to own one, but not at current market price.

Wouldn't bet on it. Many threads on many sites have hashed this out and there's a compelling reason Cosina may never build it again: They also make the Zeiss 100 MP.

It is a fantastic lens... And outside of Lars's secret source they are hard to find and quite pricy. At the price I paid, it was well worth it. Would I pay the current rate? Hard to say. But I am not selling it anytime soon, that's for sure.

All EOS mount?
Yes only in Canon mount. And they didn't have any other SL I lenses either. Only the SL II lenses in both Canon & Nikon mounts

It's not a secret anymorehttp://www.avcamera.com/
They are selling the used lens for another customer. And the other two lenses I belive are grey market imports from Hongkong. (not 100% sure about the Hongkong part)
They like to have about $ 1860 for the used lens. And $ 2280 for the new lenses.
The shop is also an Voigtlander Official Distributor
