I hear them at night throughout the neighborhood, but have yet to see one in the area. The lack of eye pupil here gives in the te depth of wisdom that traditionally has been granted to the owl.

It helps immeasurably when really skilled wildlife photographers encourage the rest of us. That happens a lot on this board and a group hug is in order (but in a manly, brief and very awkward way ).
