Klaus, well done on this composite. The silky or ghostly appearance of both the ocean and the sky certainly put the sea stacks in an even more dramatic position.
I was totally fooled by the title of this one, I was expecting to see a cowboy lassoing poor, defenseless bovines but I was pleasantly surprised to see such a marvelous landscape. The light and mood are mesmerizing, I could look at this one all day.
Klaus - do you remember what the tide was? high or low or?
the beach is only 1-1/2 from home and I'd like to shoot it.
any other tips looks like you were shooting in late PM . . . true?

This was shot at sunset and about 4 hours before low tide. A really cool place to shoot and you should go there since you are so close.
