p.1 #1 · 135mm Sonnar's

I came across a CZJ 13.5cm f4 Sonnar in L39 mount not too long ago. I was wondering if maybe I should buy it, but I let it go.

Anyone here have experience with this lens, or other 135mm Sonnars (preferably lenses that are available in Leica mount)?

I did manage to find a few photos taken with the CZJ 135/4 on a NEX 5N (as well as a few other cameras) on Flickr. Is it bad form to share public photos from Flickr that don't belong to me? Looking at some of the dog photos I really like what I'm seeing and now kicking myself for not waking up early enough to bid on the lens I missed. I have not seen another L39 mount for sale since that one.

I've seen a lot of Canon &Nikon L39 mount 135s on feebay. I have the Canon 135/3.5. It's pretty good.

The Sonnar 135 f2.8 in C/Y mount is superb, overlooked, and hence, underpriced. Getting it to Leica mount will be problematic, but on EOS it's a stunner -
