After a very mild winter here in the Netherlands spring was already around the corner.
But three weeks ago the temperature dropped rapidly and last weekend we even had some snow.
Thanks for looking.
Chris
I really like #1, but I think I'd LOVE it if there was more detail in the snow on the ground. The trees are lovely, but the ground just seems blown out. Perhaps it's just my monitor............

Nice stuff, Chris.
I'm particularly drawn to the first image.
I'd like the second image better except for the proliferation of IR treatment everywhere. In B&W form I have trouble trusting my eyes about such shots. (Is it frost? Is it IR? Who can tell any more? ).

1 and 2 are very good, Chris. It is virtually impossible to get detail in the snow without having the trees look like silhouettes. I can remember trying with film 50 yrs ago and being hugely disappointed at the result. On the other hand Ektachrome 64 was marvellous

Thank you Jo. I can assure you that there are no blown out whites in the first image.
Really appreciate your sugggestion but I think fresh snow is rather .... white.

Thank you Charlie. It was a very cold sunrise with snow and frost all over the place.
Here is the color version. Still like the fist on more?

Thank you Peter. Yes, the good old times......
But now we just expose for the highlights and tweak everything else in post.
