A tall and proud race of people. The fellow in the background looks like he is doing some archery practice.

Cheers Ray

Yes Ray, they are very proud race. Although tall and slender, none of the men I saw was taller than I (just under six feet).
The fellow is doing something with a long stick of some sort.
I'm pretty sure the Masai use only spears- and not bows and arrows. But they are very good with their spears- both in the days when there were tribal wars (thankfully a thing of the past), and when killing lions or other predators that attack the Masai or their cattle.

Her size is just an illusion, the oldest trick. I am apalled that you fell for it Charlie

Humor put aside, this is food for thought, and as a former teacher, you provide an interesting insight as to how respect, correctedness and discipline in class (read society) should be.

I'm resisting the temptation to stand on my soap-box here, Santiago, because what you mention is the basis behind my reason for quitting school teaching- a job I loved and did well.
I can imagine that small-but-successful aboriginal tribes of people throughout the world (to the extent that they are not influenced by the "civilizations" surrounding them) have strict rules of behavior that are followed very strictly.
Benjamin Spock's book wouldn't have sold well here .

Charlie they also have methods of enforcing discipline that don't go down too well in our more "enlightened" societies. One of the things you'll notice is that there are no prisons either. Justice is swift and appropriate to the offence.
