The winter in the Netherlands was very mild until about two weeks ago.
Last friday we did get almost 2 inches of snow.

1) Was checking out the woods in late afternoon.

2) Next morning before sunrise.

3) Still the coldest hour in years for me.

4) Where did all the ducks go?

5) Found them just a little bit out of reach.

6) Must have been windy.

7) The Ice is looking good.

8) Here the ice was week but people are skating in lots of places.

9) Fresh snow on Ice.

10) Sunday I found the Gray Herons at the usual wintertime spot.

11) If you can't fish stand still and watch your neighbors.

I had to go get a blanket to warm up after viewing these Chris!! Brrrrrrr

I think this is a wonderful set of winters beauty, really well done. The comp of the last is just too good, that is a stunner! 11 really is too funny. I guess they don't trust each other

I love your caption for that one!
