The color and panoramic format of the first is very nice. I think your second one is overcooked though. The HDR is doing weird things to the tones of this image. I think you'd end up with a stronger image without the HDR.
Both are good images. The second one might benefit from a little less HDR. I really like how that railing comes out of the corner and draws me deep into the image. Very nice composition.
Thank you, I had my 6 year old with me, and had to grab him because he wanted to run out onto that bridge and kick snow around, had to make sure I got the picture first lol
Very nice picture of the Big Mac! (I enjoyed the second one as well)
We're taking a couple of weeks this summer to go up to Mackinaw and up throughout the upper peninsula - I'm hoping we can time it right to have the opportunity to capture the bridge in a similar setting.

In the summertime you should be able too, lots of sunshine in Michigan in the summer.
