Im starting to market heavily all over the US right now with Indian weddings and wondering if its wise to have an 800 or 888 number? What do you guys thing? Would you do that?
900 numbers on the other hand... they are personal, they really get to know you.
Funny when I posted the thread I accidentally typed 900 and quickly changed it.
That does make sense though, and that's what I was thinking, that it doesn't sound personal and more of just any company selling service online. Wanted to see what your opinions were.
I don't think it's a big enough issue to be worth the expense, most people are on nationwide plans and as Inku Yo said an 800 number is something you call to talk to a robot about your long distance, not a human being.
Just grab a Google Voice number. You can choose it to be your local number and it would call any of your personal phones. You can have it turn off during non-business hours too.
