I'm just livid over this. I will E-Mail Mr. Posner. I asked for a return label earlier today and still have not received it. I have purchased so much stuff from them over the years, I would hate to have to quit using them over principle.

Posner seems like an OK guy.....hopefully he will help you out. BUT he will also tell you they have a good shipping department and this almost never happens. BUT if you check around you will find that is not true....B&H shipping is almost like playing Russian Roulette....some times it is packed bomb proof and some times you just have to shake your head and laugh........so bad for me that I just don't buy from them anymore......been almost three years I think I have been B&H Free......

I've already talked to B&H and Epson. Just packing it up is too much and I can't find a box big enough to put the Epson box in. UPS store said they wanted $100 to make a big box and pack it up. I thought Epson had a place where I could bring it in, but after confirming with them, it is only for repair, not drop off. After my careful calibration profile of the ultra premium Glossy paper, with a head cleaning first, I finally got so so prints. Did a careful calibration of the Ultra Prem Lustre paper next. Just examined the Ultra Prem Lustre print, which got stuck in the printer, and the 25% that did print is purple toned. That's how the glossy one was before head cleaning. Not every print sticks. This one was an 8 x 10 photo and 2, 4 x 6 prints also got stuck prior. Calibrating and re-calibrating after head cleaning is so wasteful. I think this printer is 10/7 and I don't want another one. I think I want to wait and get a 4900 on sale and prepare my office for the small car sized printer, instead. Sorry for my rant....Show more →
If you're looking for a 4900, you'd better hurry. Adorama has them marked down from a list of $2495 to $1895, not counting the additional reduction due to the $500 rebate which is good for purchases through 3/31/12. And not to mention free shipping. But you need to call Adorama directly (the website shows "add to wishlist" but they do have a few in stock)...ordered one myself earlier today.
EDIT: For some odd reason, no Epson printers were showing up on B&H's site for a while...now they are. B&H now has the 4900 marked down to $1795 with free shipping. Factoring in the rebate, the price drops to $1295. Not a bad deal.
