These two captive eagles were part of a program from falconer Paul Schnell at Eaglefest. Eaglefest celebrates the return of the bald eagles on the Hudson River. This was the 8th year of the festival, my first. The golden eagle was under the tent, 300 f4 on a monopod, no flash. The bald eagle was outside on the lawn, 500 f4 on a monopod. The bald eagle is named Liberty. The golden eagle is named Bron-Yr-Aur like the Led Zeppelin song.
