Beautifully done Dustin. Nicely exposed scene -- the lighting on the foreground rocks, the sea stack and cliffs look just right. The water movement is pretty nice as well.
Was this name given due to your battery impaired role for the evening?
I like the vertical comp here, the detail in the rocks and the water motion leads the eye in nicely. I might darken the left edge a bit and brighten the reflections / white water in the center of the image just a tad to create a line that moves the eye from the foreground right to the stack and waterfall. As it is the left side being so much brighter draws my eye out of the image.
Your and smiller's photo of the same scene are both very nice interpretations of the scene. His landscape framing works well and so does your portrait framing. I especially like how the stream of flowing white water in the lower right-hand corner leads the eye up to the seastack. Your high horizon line is very effective.
