p.1 #1 · Some hearts

Hello,

I posted a few pictures a couple of days ago.
This time IŽll present some playful, different style of photos from the very nice session with my model Tiina. Comments are welcome, of course. Cheers,

Teemu Salminen

The first is a pretty neat idea, but I would have chosen something different to be in her hands.

Three "Winners" here, IMO. Very well done.

In #1, nice job on blending the two images together smoothly.

Great shots, a few thaughts:

#1: Symmetry is missing due to placement of hat. IMO it would be interesting to see two variations: 1: hat in the middle, 2: A heart / wand or some other prop in her hands

#2 great shot, except the model looks posed and not natural. It it a bit hard to connect with her. It is very pleasing to the eye, but I cannot "connect" with the photo

I don't think he was going for symmetry on the first image. If you look at a playing card (what he's representing), the image is exactly the same top and bottom, just upside down so that it looks the same whichever way you're holding it.

Thank you for the comment. You got it exactly right. This picture-idea came to me in the studio when I was looking at the recfection on the floor (white floor + PC-sheets). First I had planned to use only the reflection in the photo.
