NOTE, these were all taken before the last set of instructions were given to me.. about lighting and fstops in the lower ranges...
I will do a shoot on Friday.. using all you guys have offered as instruction.

#1 What a sweety!

Now check out the shadow from her hair, showing up on the side of her face.

#2 . Same shadow.

#3 and onward - Hey, shadow's gone! (no hair to cast a shadow)

So arrange lighting with the hair in mind too. In #1, would you get a shadow with the main light on the other side?

your main light appears to be WAY to far from your subject. Either that or your diffuser is way to small.
