I think I was in the same mix/situation as quite a few people. Had gotten a huge flash site made.. little while later, iPhones/iPads blew up and turned out I was losing out on a lot of possible clients as a big amount were trying to view my online portfolio on mobile devices.
I got down to it and worked with my web designer, with his hands down skills, we came out with keeping my original flash based site, and also making a "mobile" easy to view site! I'm absolutely stoked on this, It should read that you are on say an Ipad or Iphone when you log onto the original site and transfer you over to "mobile"
I have a huge favor when ever any of you have a minute of free time to get onto your device and let me know how its working, I can't say thanks enough times!
I know you are looking for feedbacks from an apple device user but don't forget about android user as well.
I am viewing your "flash" based site and it looks fine on my phone. The loading is fast even with flash. I know some site will bring my phone to its knee when I try to view it with flash. I DO have to turn my phone landscape view to optimize the screen.
There is a problem that I found when viewing from my phone. I can't view the stuff after wedding like the "about, blog and contact". No matter how much I try to zoom out I can't view it.
Viewing from an iPad. No it is not working from what others are saying. All I see is your name and a drop down box. Images do display 2 wide and to the left side. If I click on an image then it refreshes but the page remains the same. No contact info or anything. PM me if you need any more info.
I've just loaded it up on an Iphone. Works OK for me. It is a bit slow loading considering I'm on Wifi and not 3G and pictures are non-resizable (don't know if this is deliberate?).
I attended CMS Expo in Evantson, IL this week. I met some guys with a nifty company that gives you the ability to create mobile web apps for iPhone, Android and they're working on Blackberry. The cool thing is, a user visiting the app on a mobile browser can elect to have the app installed on their home screen without going through an app store. The apps are HTML5, so they're not constrained by phone by phone type like Flash.
We just set up a mobile version of our site using WeeverApps. If you're on an iPhone or Android, check it out. iPads still go to the desktop site. We're still working on getting the slide show to work.
