I shot part of the event for the World Sprint Championships at the Calgary Olympic Oval on the weekend. This year, I was not shooting the actual skating - I had a different set of things to do - but I did manage to take a few minutes out to do a few skating shots. I didn't even take my 300mm 2.8 along - just the 70-200 - which, by luck, was long enough to get these two....(almost full frame)
