Are you set on vinyl? Other media substrates such as canvas would probably be more suitable to photograph as a backdrop---a bit easier to light. Canvas and other substrates will print with better detail and color gamut as well. How wide do you need to go? Anything beyond the typical 44" and 64" printers, you're looking at finding a grand format printer.
