1st wedding i ever did. only had documented a few public events and one $50 kid shoot at the park. 12 people at the most might have been in attendance at any one time. it was quick, happened all in one place, surreal, and true. anyway here is a random interpretation of the day.. not chronological. btw.. we all start some where
Some decent pj moments in there. I would have liked the B&W's to be a bit more consistent. Some were high contrast while others were softer with the blacks rolled off.

for sure joel.. that's why i gave the context, first wedding and all. just want people to see that if you stick around FM you definitely improve.

how many of the people in these pictures survived?
everyone is still alive.. just saw sister of the bride in gym the other day. she's definitely lost 20lbs and looks great. besides that your reference is a little random
Cool coverage- my first wasn't that good at all
Like the concept in no.3, and you have some nice detail shots here.
And yes- sticking around FM improves one's skills, surely improoved mine.
is it possible that Fred Miranda has made you worse?
Ok, not entirely... I think your photography and processing are better now then as shown in this set... but this set as a whole seems much more complete and relevant. This was obviously done prior to the establishment of your, "I'm going to present a magazine, not an article," thought process.
One thing I still don't understand is the randomness of your output sizes... I can understand using panoramic crops, or other more compositional crops, but you appear to have shots in 2:3 format that are showing as a variety of different sizes and I don't understand why?
Too many pictures to comment on but here is my quick feedback -
- Your processing is all over the place.
- Some great moments captured but it's watered down by the amount of images you posted.
- Wide shots aren't terribly flattering in some images.
BTW - not to open a can of worms but last night was out of control. Please keep the childish crap in high school and off our boards. FM (and other web forums) can be a HUGE resource to helping you being a better photographer. I know it has for me...
