first time poster on the landscape forum...not my usual style but have been trying to get into landscape photography
would love some input on these shots
Not sure why no one has commented?? But I'll say a few things that hit my mind!
No.1 - would like to understand a bit better what is in your mind when composing this picture, I am assuming this is a needle on the beach? Did you find it there or did you place it? If the latter what are you trying to portray with the children behind?
No. 2 - The sky makes me feel dizzy when looking at this one - does not work for me, the buildings look like they are shaking as a consequence of the sky.
No. 3 - I like this a lot and probably the most out of the set. I think it is the simplicity of the shot along with the more muted colours which I am drawn to.
Finally
No.4 - I like the potential composition of this shot but the post processing is not quite to my taste. To be so dark lends it self to something more sinister in my opinion and I don't think this scape would warrant it.
Please take my thoughts just as they are, one persons opinion, you obviously are very good behind the camera and I look forward to seeing more of you work.
