Lucy is a 6 year old puppy of dubious lineage. She was accidentally bred by a crazy lady living in a cabin in the San Bernadino moutains. She is the offspring of a German Shepherd and a feral dog or wolf.
She attended puppy training school and learned some basic commands. (Sit, Stay, Down, Speak, Dance). However, after completing puppy school she dropped out to pursue other activities. She is very intelligent but due to some mental block she appears to be unable to learn any of the following commands:
1. Stop, the cat does NOT want to play.
2. Go back to bed, it is too early for a walk.
3. Quiet, the garbage man is NOT a threat to your territory

Hands look almost shadow like. Care to share how you did that?
thanks Steve
Thanks for taking the time to comment!
The hands look "shadow like" because they are in fact shadows!
Lucy (the dog) sat by a blank wall, the lighting was arranged so that the "hands" (me with a remote shutter release) were actually above and off to the right of the field of view. The shadow fell on the wall, Lucy looked the direction she was supposed to and then I snapped about 50 pictures hoping for one that looked good!
The bright lighting that makes the "shadow hands" also causes a lot of contrast between the wall and the subject which can make the edges of the subject look a little harsh. I had fun working with Lucy and liked the way this one came out, so here it is!

Great idea, did you give her the dog biscuit when you where finish.
Norm
She got about a dozen smaller treats just to get her to sit in the right place!
(The large bone in the "shadow hand" is actually just a flat piece of cardboard I cut out from an old cereal box)
