Lovely shots. I've come to enjoy the 90/3.5 lately as well, and indeed it nicely does flowers too. I generally like the way Voigts render flowery shots whenever there are green, white, and red in the picture -- always very clean (I'm not sure if this is because Voigts weaken the yellow cast, which is for example prominent in some Sigma lenses...).

At first I didn't like the 90/3.5 APO Lanthar very much. SOOC it's kinda lifeless...but then, with proper PP, I'm enjoying it more and more, specially considering the size and weight. Sure I love my ZE 100/2, but the weight...
The 90/3.5 is tested by Lloyd Chambers on a D800 and with great results. For the price you can't get a better one in that range.

Yes, and with his same testing methodology he says the 58 1.4 is a dog on the D800.
Now, I haven't used this lens on a D800, but I think it's a great lens for certain types of shots on every other camera I've tried it and I don't think its performance would be worse on a D800.

Is the Voigt 125mm that is highly praised the only Voigt 125, or over time have there been others?
The 180/4 and 90/3.5 are both highly praised. The 90/3.5 was available in a SL I and SL II version, but is now discontinued. I suppose because of very low sales figures. The 180/4 was only available in SL I and I doubt if it will come available in SL II considering the very short history of the 90/3.5 SL II. I have both lenses (SL I) and these are very fine lenses, but sometimes I think about selling them because I don't use them that often.

I got my copy of 58/1.4 from a Nikon user (not sure what camera he had) who wasn't entirely happy with the lens. He showed me some pics, and they were actually good, so I just took the plunge, and so far the lens has been performing nicely on the NEX system.
Just to keep the thread going - some spring colors with CV90/3.5 (v1). http://album.foto.ru:8080/photos/or/396183/2489344.jpg

Hey Lars, how ya like that 90 anyway? I notice they're pretty reasonable around these parts. Is it anywhere near the 125/2.5 for IQ or?
I have used the 125 to little to make any comparison. I did some test shooting with 3 different 125/2,5 a couple of months ago, but that's all.
But the 90 is very good for it's low price. And really very sharp already at wide open. It's a great small travel lens also.
