Uzay, not when I'm shooting that close to the subject. Wide open and one meters distance will give you about 2 cm DOF with this 90mm lens. I would guess about f/8 to get both eyes sharp
The 125/2.5 is definitely sharp. It's an obvious lack of skill on my part that gives it a bad reputation (in my shots).
On occasion I get it right though..
Cheers..
Yepp, got it about half a year ago, but first (as usual) was reluctant to use it so I don't get disappointed.
I did Hokkaido trip and Makuhari Messe (Tokyo Auto Salon) with it and actually quite liked it, despite AF confirm missing focus..
A few modest contributions. Just walking around campus testing a rented copy of the 35/1.2 VII Nokton on a Nex-7. First one is WO, second is around f2, the last around 5.6 All at either ISO 1600 or 800.
morpheus2891, I particularly like your third photo. How did you like the lens, I am thinking of buying it primarily for wide open use. It seems a little expensive for a Voigt, but those who like it seem to think it is worth the price??
