Hi guys, just curious what you use to carry your einsteins around. Mine arrived today -- totally psyched about that -- and now I realize I need to have a case to carry them. What I used before really isn't practical.
I have two HPRC cases. They are as good as pelican but a lot cheaper.
The big one will carry my dye sub printer, extra media, two AB strobes, two light stands, umbrellas, computer, folders, credit card machine and cash box.
It's kind of big but tough.
So depending on where you are travelling with strobes, you can use anything from a 50dollar cheapy ebay cordura bag to the hard cases. If you are travelling a lot then I would reccommend the toughest case you can get. If only occasionally then a cheaper, less durable alternative will probably work.
Cheers
Chris
If you have modifiers and stands as well Photoflex makes some really BIG lighting cases, but these are on wheel. Never the less 4 Einsteins w/ mods, batteries and stand are gonna be heavy!
I use the Think Tank Airport rolling bag for my gear and if I needed a large carrying case for lighting gear I would probably look at the Think Tank Logistics Manager as well.

I had the TransPac Dual and it fit 4 einsteins, all cables, basic reflectors and a half dozen light stands. The case itself weighs 20 pounds. Fully loaded it was a real beast to carry.
