While I'm enjoying the whole set Eric, man love 4 but I must say 7 is so over the top good!! Wow what a bird and what a shot Super stuff my friend!
Tim
Thanks so much my friend. I think one of the most wonderful things about an African safari is the diversity of wildlife. There are so many target species that walk on four legs, fly, swim and slither...and the 2 legged specie is also quite incredible and adds another dimension to what is always a marvelous adventure

Superb set, with #2 & 7 being stellar. Great work Eric.
Thanks so much Kenny! Cheetah lend themselves to pretty decent pix...vultures usually not so much. I was actually really surprised how this one came out.

I think I need to play craps...2 and 7 keep coming up! I never would have though a vulture photo would be "pretty"...but this is a big surprise to me too...and 2 years after the fact!
Thanks so much Lar....you know you wanna go...come on...you''ll never regret it, I promise!
Eric
These are all exquisite images, Eric, and you seem to maintain a consistently high quality in all of your pictures that I've seen, which I think is a pretty hard thing to achieve.
The pictures of lions really puzzle me because they have a seldom seen detail, "immediacy" and closeness to them, as if you were shooting them at no more than 20 ft focusing distance.

Wow! First you shock with the Cats....then the beautiful Tawny Eagle shot and finally won me over with the kestrels growing on trees.
Super shots!
Thanks so much for the oh so kind words. Our guide wasn't overly impressed by the kestrels...I, on the other hand was shocked beyond belief.

Very nice again Eric. 2 is my pick, but the last is something else. I have seen exactly 1 wild kestrel, and you have them growing on trees ~ Ron
Thanks Ron, cheetahs can be great subjects especially when they sit on a termite mound...and with a cub...well that was too lucky...as far as the kestrels...I have it on good authority that they can be seen in groups up to 10,000...I know....crazy but true!
