$359/night is too steep for me.

Almost anything on Michigan Avenue is going to have a pretty good view of either Grant Park and Lake Michigan or the city.

You may wan't to try the Drake or The Palmer house. Both should be less $ depending on your dates. The Palmer House is a Hilton property so they do have AAA discount. IIR there's a Westin that may fit the bill as well. Feel free to send a slice of deep dish chicago pie over once you get there!
