So even though you've apparently never owned any Zeiss lenses and have no idea if there is or isn't a difference between a lenses like a Biogon 35 and a Sigma lens you still feel your in a position to judge the company as a whole and tell them how to run their business
Maybe you should first get some experience with them and then make comments about how they should run their business and the weird people they appeal to.
Robert, let me extend an invitation one more time to come over to the Alternative Gear forum. As Jim pointed out, there is a whole community over there of people who have discovered an enormous amount of information, and who have freely and openly shared it. They don't have the answer at hand to every possible question, but you, as a member of that community have the curiosity to ask the questions and share what you have learned through your own efforts. That's how community works.
