You did a fine job, as usual, exposing these, Tim. The patches of warm colors on the snow add a pleasant touch to the white bg and to the image as a whole.
The soft light works well on the bighorns fur, bring out the fine detail with a natural looking sharpness.
3 and 4 are my favorites, but I really enjoyed the whole set
Socrate
Thanks for the good words and the thoughts on the exposures Socrate!! Glad you like them!

A subject we don't see that often from you Tim.
Can't have been easy lugging the 800 up to where these guys were.
I see you brought the 70-300 along too. How are you finding this lens?
Great set of which the King and Queen are naturally tops followed by the last one with the one straw chewer up close
Martin
These were a first for me Martin, I have seen them but never had the chance to photograph them. They have been on the list for a while I really do like the 70-300, for stuff like this it is wonderful! If I was in the habit of carrying a second body around this is the lens I would have on that body.

Sweet set Tim, man o man you are starting the year with some great subjects. Like them all, but #2,3, 4 and 5 are my picks. One day I'd like to get to see them.
I'm glad you like them Herb! I have been wanting these guys for a while now and finally got them thanks to Larry

Tim great looking set of the Bighorns but you know you can't have it your way all the time with mother nature looks like you had a great time anyway.
Russell
So true Russell, thanks for the thoughts and nice words

I'm liking #5. Do you westerners call it wildlife or "tame"life. Man you guys get close to everything. Or are you just better "hunters"? Don

You're chasin' goats now huh?
Well damn' fine pics buddy...all off'em
Love #1...the snow reflects bit of light back onto the subject
Very Nice Tim! #4 is my fav overall. I would have liked to have seen #1 with a bit more environment to showcase the ability of these guys to negotiate canyon walls even when snow-covered!!
