I REALLY like the comp of #3 Chickadee, Martin; it has a spare, elegant simplicity to it. But yes, PLEASE take the Starling back with you when you return to the Continent! It ain't called a EUROPEAN Starling for nothing...
Steve
You know, its nice to share Steve and I think you guys would really miss this little innocent bird so I'll leave it with you all for another while
Thanks,
Martin

Good set Martin, looks like you miss the cold and snow(y)!!! Really like the Starling shot, they are very skiddish and difficult to capture.
Thanks Dave.
Its a wee bit warmer over here
I think from the comments I get on the starlings that there are many who would like to capture them and do away with them.
Cheers,
Martin

I really like the first image, Martin. The red of that plant adds a pleasing warm feel to a winter image The image is also properly exposed with visible fine detail in the black and the whites.
Lighting and especially exposure looks very nice in the rest of the images. Well done!
Socrate
Its nice to find such color out and about in the winter Socrate.
Thanks for your kind comments.
