I do not want to purchase a PC, rather a notebook that will be very good for photo editing.
Is there any opinion about Asus N75?

I have an Asus U30JC notebook that works very well with PS CS5. Maybe you can compare specs for the U30JC with the N75 to figure out where it stands.

I've got an Asus U41JF that's very close in spec to the U30, and it runs PS CS5 just fine. Hell, I even edit video on it.

Core i3 2.53GHz that overclocks to 2.9GHz. I'd be more concerned with screen quality, where most laptops under $1k (including both of the above) fall flat on their faces.

I agree. I do most of my PP on an Asus desktop with Dell U2711. The notebook is for quick touchups on the road.

I agree, I couldn't see myself doing extensive photoshop on notebook unless it was a quick retouch
