Sorry, man, just kidding. I'd rather pay around $5k for one of the other ones listed on this forum. Check out your competition.

1DsIII is BACKORDERED Internationally and the 1D X is at least two months away for firms like Getty, Reuters and UPI for the 2012 Olympics.
Low battery count, reduced MP's, small buffer compared to Nikon, unknown AF and no F8 with extenders and just a few knowns and unknowns.
Jeremy_clay, have a nice day.
Don't be sore, you asked to see others and their prices so I linked them to you. Here's some more 4-5.3k
I sell stuff on my local Craigslist and ebay a lot. I've pretty much figured out that if I'm asking twice as much as the ad right next to me, no matter how much I believe it will sell, well, it doesn't, the other one does. Actually, I don't do that, I figured that out before I started listing stuff.
Either you're testing to see if it's true that there's a sucker born every minute and you can rip someone off or to see how much bandwidth you can waste. Either way it's not what this board is for so either make your post with a serious offer or stop bumping this wasteful ad ever day.

Respectfully I would submit that "price policing" is expressly forbidden by the forum rules. Please respect the rules. There is a good reason for this. If price policing is allowed seller won't post their prices and they'll list the price as "ask" instead. This removes pricing information from the market. When pricing information is lacking and all items are listed as "ask" that is when buyers get ripped off because they don't know and can't find the actual comparable sales price of an item. This information is valuable to both the buyer and the seller. Ultimately Adam Smith's invisible hand will set the price if comparable pricing information is known. I'm not excusing over-priced items. However, an overpriced item won't sell. Trust the market and most of all lets have some respect for each other please.
Although I'll add this - it may be OK to discuss pricing issues in general on the Canon forum. But not on someone else's B&S listing.

You need to be serious about selling this camera because time is not on your side. Once 5DIII and 1Dx hits the shelf you might as well forget it.
I am not in the market for 1DsIII whatsoever. I'm just trying to look at.
BTW - Both shots were with the excellent 1DsIII pictured above, which I understand will soon become worthless because the bargin hunters will all be purchasing the 5DIII.
