I'd be happy with no AA filter, and a Photoshop plugin to remove the moire. Then I can layer and remove any moire that is showing. Best of both worlds!

And I agree with you alundeb.
Most of my photography is wildlife macro and it seems to be that a non AA-filter camera is good for this, but I also do quite a lot of other wildlife photography, like a lot of BiF and other bird photography, so I'm torn and haven't decided yet.
One thing I can say is that I can NOT afford two cameras. It's taken me 3 years to save up for this camera and my new lens. Another camera is not even on the horizon.

Here is a very good articel, maybe because it confirms my findings and also tells me I was right about a question only one other person, of all the "experts" in all forums, could agree with me about, that it IS a good choice, the D800E, for macro work.
