I have a SB800 which I have virtually never used. I decided I better learn how to use it or sell it. I read through the manual, and tried it on my D3s with my 24-120 f4 lens. Tried taking many pictures last night with it set to TTL. It seemed to be set up right--at least recognized the ISO, aperature setting, focus setting and shutter speed. Tried it with different mode setting P, A & S and the flash fired great---but the pictures all come out very dark or black. If I turn off the flash my pictures come out ok, albeit a little dark--they needed some flash. I assume I have some setting wrong--any ideas on what I am obviously doing very wrong?
