Love seeing a relatively local guy win... congrats, great planning and really well executed.
I got me a netcam and protective padded box for this exact intended use but haven't been able to figure out how to approach setting it up for single game shooting. Feel free to fire off your secrets for that!

I just saw this question.......
As far as single game shooting I simply call the league and the arena and ask permission to mount it. I have had to leave a signed disclaimer at a lot of local rinks saying that the community centre or the city is not responsible for any damage to the camera....This is often times the most annoying part is talking to the leagues and ice rinks. I have made several trips to arenas to set it up just to show folks what it is and how it works.
Once it is in place for a game I make it a point to let both coaching staffs and the head official know it is in place......
