p.1 #1 · Sigma 150-500 F5-6.3 OS - ¡¿¡¿¡New Info?!?!?

Ok, looking again for an economical solution to my FL limitation. I can't get to 500mm and higher @ f/4 and I'm OK with that...I'm also crop limited on my 1DII. So I'm looking for some actual hands on reviews and some FM user images with this particular lens. I asked about the Sigma 120-400, but didn't think that what I got was worthwhile. And, as much as I'd like to get some reviews and suggestions for other lenses, I'd like to limit it to the Sigma 50-500 f/4.5-6.3 OS lens. Thanks...

If you post images, if you could include EXIF in the post I'd really appreciate it, or if EXIF is intact, I'd like to be able to save it and see the details...Reno

EDIT: Also would like to know something about the 150-500 f/5-6.3 OS??

Under certain indoor lighting and on certain bodies I had AF problems with mine that weren't fixed even after a trip to Sigma...but in outdoor lighting the focus works perfectly. Not the sharpest tele but sharper than average for a 3rd-party lens. It's worst at 500mm but still usable. Haven't been too impressed with the OS, I get maybe 2 stops although I haven't endeavored to test it in controlled circumstances. It's got some heft to it but handles pretty well.

Here are some photos on the D7000 at a mix of focal lengths:

p.1 #3 · Sigma 150-500 F5-6.3 OS - ¡¿¡¿¡New Info?!?!?

Just got mine last week from Amazon.
Took it out for a test run on Saturday.
I've used the 500 F4, 300 2.8 and 300 F4 in the past. The lens is not in the same league obviously. However it has great image stabilization, light weight (comparative) and 500mm reach at a reasonable price.

Thanks so far!!! Another question...What are the Aperture change points? So it's f/4.5 @ 50mm, how far into the range does it hit f/5, f/5.6 and 6.3? Thanks...

Lenstip.com review (http://www.lenstip.com/244.11-Lens_review-Sigma_50-500_mm_f_4.5-6.3_APO_DG_OS_HSM_Summary.html) says that it's f/6.3 at 220mm already. Not good.

I have a question also about the 150-500 f/5-6.3 OS? Images/Opinions? I've read the reviews here on FM, and they seem favorable...Yours?

Here are albums that were shot exclusively with the Sigma 50-500 OS

Some great shots, many mediocre or worst...
