Being a Brit, with parks you nice people from over the pond could put in your backyard, it was a shock to see this picture. The picture is impressive, as you say. If only I had the nerve to board a plane and see these wonderful places!
Impressive indeed! I love the Pacific Northwest. It's definitely one of my favorite areas to visit. This is such a beautifully captured moment that really shows the power of the surf and why the ocean needs to be respected.
That's a beautiful shot Barb. We have no parks like that around here either. Nice place you live. My brother-in-law lives in Coos Bay and I will be visiting him this coming summer.
Mark, then a must see is Shore Acres. The park is located right there in Charleston outside of Coos Bay. Unfortunately you need incoming storms to view the large waves but it's still a beautiful park with lots of trails, be sure to visit the gardens at Shore Acres.
