p.1 #1 · Sports Team Pictures/Packages - Who do you use? Who's the Best?
I will be doing team pictures for a few different leagues and they want things like cardboard memory mates, trading cards and buttons. I saw a post a while back that I can't find where people were discussing who they used to help fill these orders. I could use my web site host (smugmug) to fill most of this but there are sites dedicated to this exclusively and I would like to use this thread to discuss what the different options are and figure out who the best is as far as price and quality.

I've been using H&H Color Labs (http://www.hhcolorlab.com) for the last two years and they are great! I ran almost 5000 orders thru them this year and the only problem that I had the entire year was that they put the wrong bag tag into one order. I had zero problems on the print end.
H&H also has their own data entry/ordering software that works great. Their production is very fast. I have put through orders of 500-700 orders and had everything ship out to me two days later. They also do a great job of packaging and shipping every order.

Hey Mad, I always hear great things about h and h. I've even done some small print orders through them. I find the ezevent ordering software hard to get used to and master. I've been using two labs that use the Roes ordering system and it's really easy. I would like to do more with h and h in the future but their ordering software has held me back.
Also, a lot of my sports team and individual photos 5x 7's and 8 x 10's include a border with text and I don't know if I can process them through H and H without the border getting Cropped out during processing.

When I first started using the eZevents software, it was time consuming. Once you get use to it, things move along very quickly. One thing that I do have to say about the software is that H&H continues make improvements and update often even if it's something minor.
From what I have heard, they are going to be coming out with a custom color picker soon so that on borders like, soccer for instance (now only red), you can pick a color off of your teams jerseys and set that as the border color.
That's a tough one when you already have your own border and type and need to try to get it to print without cropping something off. Have you tried using any of their Studio Background templates? I've used them when I had a sport where I don't really like any of their standard template designs. As long as the templates that you have don't have set picture windows, their Studio Background system works pretty good. If you haven't already done so, download the templates and try overlaying your graphic over the template to see how it looks. You can then add in type anywhere that you want it. Just make sure that when you are setting up your products and packages that you leave certain type lines open if they are near the type that is incorporated into your border.
If you have any other questions about the software, just shoot me a pm or e-mail. I have been using the software for two years now so, I know it pretty well.
