I am about to purchase this exact same flash and would like to know if anyone else can chime in here with their experience.

I had the one for Canon and was impressed. it was spot on, and the build quality was very good regardless of price. I tested it against 585 ex and found very little difference. differences could have been more technique error than flash.

I don't know a better flash for your hard earned coin. I'm at work so i cannot post samples. They would be Canon samples anyway,, you Nikon guys don't want those

It arrived today and have already used it on a commercial job. Works well. I find that it needs to be set to underexpose by 1/3rd to 2/3rds of a stop but other than that it consistent, very well made, and very easy to use. In fact I shall be using it in preference to my SB600 which feels cheap in comparison!

Well the flash passed with flying colours. Shot hundreds of photos with it today, all on one set of batteries, and there is probably only about 10 pics where the flash got it wrong. Am very impressed as it was used it some very changeable lighting conditions. Am sure that a Nikon flash wouldnt have done any better
