This weekend I had the oppertunity to shoot a fire company. Here is a shot from the shoot. I will say this, nothing is more nerve racking than my D3s hanging off a tower truck 120ft in the air.

Nice shot! I can tell you there is in fact something more nerve racking than that though... Stepping in and out of that bucket onto a roof

Very nice shot!

I spent 4 hours sitting in the bucket taking shots of the students as they performed their mandatory 100' aerial ladder climb...twice.

i know we need the truckies, i can tell when they have the vent going because my life gets easier, but i still am glad i'm an engine company fireman, i prefer my feet and knees on the floor, and to be warm
