In the past Thailand factories only made DX. All FX products have been made in Japan. Note that northern Japan is still very short on electrical power.

If Nikon hasn't announced it by now, I wouldn't bet on there being a D800. At least, not for a rather long time.
Right now, Nikon has their hands fullo just trying to supply the holiday demand.
