This was my planned shot from the minute I saw this weeks theme...it just took a week to get set up for it...the model has her good days and bad...and you should see the rider she makes me sign...sheesh.
Anyway...my WA entry for this week...The Rookie.

Really nice Travis. You captured a nice mood with this. I maybe would have cropped out the upper part of the double hung window. I scrolled the screen up to see how that looked and it seemed more compelling.
Nice idea, and you captured a great moment here. I'll agree with Mark that the horizontal part of the window frame does distract slightly from the final image. Good shot nonetheless though.

Thanks Mark. I looked at the crop you mention when I was prepping this image last night, and to my eye, it lost some of the through the window feeling that it has. I was torn, what is more aesthetically pleasing, or what conveys a sense of looking through a window...ie the transparency...more. In the end, I left it as shot. But I do appreciate the feedback.

Thanks, this year she was more of a distraction to us...I am sure that next year the tree will look much different.
