Just got my 600mm back from the repair center and needed to check it out before the Bosque Dabacle...Got this RTH in some good morning light and applied the topaz lab clean filter...I like the effect and yes, the lens tested out just fine...Bosque and the Tango Mike here we come.
Are you taking it to Bosque. I can't decide what lens to take. I keep thinking I am dying to take the 800 but Mr Monkey says Nah Nah NO to long I hear that a lot

Not that familiar with the Topaz clean filter--what do you think it did for you on this one? More than just noise reduction, I presume? Thanks.

I use their denoise for noise. They have a whole series of plugins that do just about everything you can imagine. Within the clean plugin they have 7 presets or you can go manualy and work on adjusting the photo through manual settings. I used the crispStyle preset on this photo.
Regarding your question...on the macro scale, it made the edges more definitive and crisp.

ANT--Listen to the monkey...the only reason I take my 600 is because I drive. Bruce uses his 400 and less, and I have learned that my 100-400 was one of my most used lens.
Looks very good, Benzene. Nice job!
I've been using Topaz DeNoise since it came out and I got it actually for free as a special offer for getting the Topaz Adjust. It is my preferred NR for my subjects
