Adobe has killed Flash development on mobile devices.

Can't say we didn't see this coming, but all the people who kept clinging on to Flash, might want to re-think things now.

Flash heavy sites always were annoying anyway, I felt. Met very few I enjoyed. (now it was a useful tool for displaying images in some instances)

HTML5 will have what you need now. . .

Statistics I saw indicated that Flash is still resident on 98% of computers, and not everyone on the web is going to rush out an have a new website designed by the hottest HTML5 coders right away.

HTML5 will replace Flash the way fuel injection replaced carburetors. It's "under the hood" for users, not a priority.

+1..Great analogy...and it so much cleaner and uses up so much less energy.
