I dressed up as Strider for Halloween but never had a chance to take "the" shot. This weekly assignment gave me an excuse

P.S. I tried 'keeping it real' and using candlelight...but sadly that's pretty much impossible when shooting solo (I came SO close to lighting my cloak on fire running to and from the camera :P).

I have a remote (two actually) but they're only 3' cords. I suppose I should look into getting a longer one.

Get some wireless poverty wizards on ebay. For occasional use they're great.

yeah, I was referring to wireless. I have seen several for decent prices for most camera brands.
