I must be missing something (as in clueless) but if I want to attach my umbrella adapter to my c-stand, what is the best way. I have a Avenger E650 baby pin but the pin is not compatible with my adapter. The adapter hole is too small for my 5/8 baby pin. Should I get another adapter like the 026 Manfrotto? Can that one take the baby pin?
The easiest way might be to tap the end of your baby pin with a hole into which you could thread the male end of the spigot that comes with many umbrella adapters. Then, any umbrella adapter you have now or might get in the future would work.
