p.1 #1 · Wireless flash trigger for Nikon D80 and SB60

Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive remote flash trigger? I've got a Nikon D80 with a Nikon SB600 flash and cant seem to find anything that will work with both. I was looking at the Yongnuo RF-602 or the CowboyStudio NPT-04. I can't find any good data on either that they will work with both my flash and my camera. Any help is greatly appreciated.

RF-602 will work the D80 and SB600. I recall one limitation about waking up the flash. If that's not an issue, I can recommend them. Also, check out the newer RF-603s.

Here's a really long thread about RF-602 compatibility.

Thanks, do you know if the RF-603 has fixed the "wake" issue?

I used CACTUS V5. The unit with two pieces are both transreceivers.

I went ahead and ordered the RF-603, they arrive tomorrow and if they don't work, thanks to Amazon's return policy I can send them back.

They actually showed up today, and while they shooed with the wrong release cord, it's not a big deal, I've already got a wired and wireless remote.

Time to set up and play a bit
