p.1 #1 · Shark!

I did the PP for this shot taken in the local aquarium by my dive instructor.
I was there as his photography instructor!
I'd appreciate your thoughts on framing/colours/anything else, as I suspect this one may end up as quite a large print..
Not sure where the painting feeling came from. It was just 'there', but I think I like it!

I've tried at the Georgia Aquarium without much luck several years ago, blur, blur, blur and ISO 1200 is as high as I can go, 800 an even better option.

The original is 2-3 stops underexposed.

Can you post the original? It's always difficult to assess post-processing show without seeing the pre-processed version..

Thanks. Here's a slightly different take. I would add a little more canvas on top so the line of the dorsal fin doesn't intersect the corner of the frame. And a bit less green on the shark. (Top is your original post):
